Inspiring
Action offers one to one performance coaching for managers and senior
staff, particularly in the health, social care and not for profit sectors. We agree with the staff member and their line-manager what the individual's development needs are and the outcomes desired. While the coaching relationship itself remains confidential, the manager will be kept in touch with the staff member's progress.
Coaching
is a facilitative, one to one relationship focusing on dramatically
improving confidence and strengthening abilities. As a result, people
realise their full potential and become more energetic, productive
and effective, achieving their desired outcomes and goals.
Coaching
is an excellent means of supporting formal training to enable staff
to fine-tune and embed new skills and put them to full use in their
work environment. In particular coaching enables people to lead
and implement organisational development and change successfully.
Coaching
can be carried out face to face or on the phone. Sessions usually
last for one or two hours. The frequency and duration will be agreed
at the outset.
'Coaching'
and 'mentoring' are terms often used interchangeably and there is
a lot of overlap. Strictly speaking, coaching does not require that
the coach has any experience of their client's occupation. Hence
we are able to coach people from any background. Mentoring however
can include passing on knowledge and experience in a particular
field. Our expertise in non-profit organisations enables us to mentor
people working in that sector.
We
also offer Life Coaching to
support people wishing to identify and achieve personal goals.
